Obituary for Colette Deveau

DEVEAU, COLETTE Peacefully in her 56th year and in the company of her family, Colette Deveau passed away on February 17, 2015. Beloved wife of 25 years to Dave Shoot and cherished mother to Ryan and Dayna Shoot, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Colette will be fondly remembered for her compassion, contribution to the lives of those around her, and infectious laugh. In addition to her immediate family in Toronto; Colette also leaves behind her parents Fred and Ruby, brothers Camille (Annette), and Neil and sister Janice (Rick Stoddard) of Moncton, as well as sister Yolande (Mike Goodine) of Saint John. Her family wants to express their deepest thanks to the staff at St. Michael’s hospital and requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Michael’s Foundation. Visitation will be held at Sherrin Funeral Home (873 Kingston Road) on Friday, February 20 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. John’s Church (794 Kingston Road) on Saturday, February 21 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at Sherrin Funeral Home.
