Obituary for Evelyn Powers

POWERS, EVELYN - 1940 – 2012 - Evelyn Powers, 72, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton, on Sunday, December 9th, 2012. Born in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Zélica (Robichaud) Maillet. She was retired as a bank teller with CIBC. She will be sadly missed by her two children; Stefanie Price (Brad) of Halifax, and Jason (Angela) of Belleville, On., and her two grandsons; Jacob and Joshua. She also leaves to mourn her two brothers; Alphonse (Donalda) of Oromocto, and Jean-Guy (Gilberte) of Moncton, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters; Fernande and Bernadette. Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Room Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine, on Wednesday, December 12th, 2012 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery. In Evelyn’s memory, donations can be made to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche. www.mailletfuneralhome.ca
