Obituary for Angus Armour

Angus B. Armour, beloved son of Pat and Wes Armour of Moncton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. There are places to go There are people to see There are things to do.... Angus was a Moncton High 1992 graduate and completed the Business Program at Loyalist College, Belleville in 1995. Angus attained his Transportation Diploma from UNB in 1996. As a Vice-President of Armour Transportation Systems and President of Armour Logistics, Angus loved all aspects of the trucking industry. Angus lived his life to the fullest and made the most of every day. His zest for life took him hunting geese, snowmobiling, salmon fishing, dirt biking, skydiving, scuba diving, golfing enjoying Nascar and riding his Harley. His constant companion was his black lab, Princess, who shared many of these memorable outings with him.Angus loved people and people loved him. He was especially fond of children and they in turn appreciated the \'kid\' in him. He loved to laugh, joke and was always telling a funny story. He enjoyed music and was gifted at the piano. Those who knew Angus will remember him as a kind, caring, thoughtful young man who was generous with his time. Angus was proud of his family and friends and their special relationship and will be missed every day by those at the center of his life, including his therapists and devoted nurses. \'Angus danced like no one was watching, loved like he would never be hurt, sang like no one was listening, and lived life like it was heaven on earth\'. In addition to his parents, Pat and Wes, Angus will be sadly missed by his sister, Victoria Armour and brother, Ralston Armour (Alisha), both of Moncton; aunts, Joan Walton, Terry Tower (Larry), Helen Smith (Wyman), Dorothy Armour, Elma LeBlanc (Eusebe), Bunny Emeno (David); uncle, Barry Buck (Isabelle); as well as several cousins. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service, Moncton Wesleyan Church Life Centre, 945 St. George Blvd., Sunday, September 12, 2010, 3:00 pm, Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Reception following the service.
