Obituary for JAMES BEERS

BEERS, JAMES - (1932-2009) - BEERSVILLE, NB - James Beers 77, of Beersville passed away at The Moncton City Hospital on Monday, October 12th, 2009. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Thomas and Augusta (Roberts) Beers. James was a proud member of the St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville, and worked for INCO in Sudbury Ontario for 36 years. James will be sadly missed by his wife Ethel (Lynds) Beers of Beersville; two sons, Allan James Beers (Sandra) of Sudbury, ON, Gary Ross Beers (Francoise) of Kelowna, BC; ten grandchildren; one sister, Irene (Dolly) Blakney of Riverview; two brothers, Carmen of Calgary, AB and Everett of Edmonton, AB. James was predeceased by his step-mother, Stella (Cail) Beers; his daughter, Brenda Lynn; three brothers, Edward, Lloyd, Warren; and two sisters, Dorothy, and Margaret. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. There will also be visitation at St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville on Friday at noon until time of funeral. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at 2:00 pm, St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville with Rev. A. D. Sutherland officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
