Obituary for Janet MacAleese

MacALEESE, JANET G. 1931 - 2016 Janet G. MacAleese, 85, of Moncton, passed away at her residence, on Monday, March 21, 2016. Born in Lewisville, NB; she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Marion (Nichols) Green. She attended the former Humphrey Memorial United Church. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Gail (the late Paul), Roberta (the late Al), Lynn (the late Russell) all of Lindsay, ON. and Trudy (Ivan) of Moncton, four sons Terry (Lilly Ann) of Lindsay, ON. Brian (Ivena) of Nova Scotia, Christopher (Carol) of Cornwall, ON. and Mark (Tammy) of Moncton; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband C. Roderick MacAleese in August 2009; brothers Murdoch and J. Robert Green and by her sister Evelyn Bell Honoring Janet's wishes there is no viewing at the funeral home. The Memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Janet's memory made to the charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated by her family. Janet's family wish to thank extra mural nurses for their compassion and care given to Janet over the last few months.
