Obituary for Larry Courtney Raworth

Larry Courtney Raworth 1936 - 2006 Larry Raworth, age 70, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 20, 2006 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, he is the son of Lily Mae (Morrell) and the late Ward Raworth. He was employed with the City of Moncton for 34 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Branch #54 Royal Canadian Legion for 32 years. Besides his mother, Lily Mae Phillips of London ON; Larry will be sadly missed by his wife of 48 years Ada; his son Randy of Hamilton, ON; his two daughters, Wendy (Jeff Hurd) of Moncton and Lari-Lynn (Timmy Jones) of Irishtown; grandchildren, Amy, Jason, Christina, Tommy, Jessica and Timie-Lynn whom all had a special place in his heart; sisters, Sandra and Bonnie; and brother Phillip, all of Ontario; mother-in-law Anna Boutilier of Dawson Settlement and uncles, Grey of Riverview and Winston of ON. Besides his father he was predeceased by a son Larry in infancy and by a brother Jack. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Lutz St. on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel Moncton on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Larry's memory made to Moncton Hospital Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by his family.
