Obituary for Leopold Gaudet

GAUDET, LEOPOLD - Leopold Gaudet of Belliveau Village passed away at the Dr. Georges L Dumont University Hospital Center on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the age of 74. Born on December 19, 1939 in Beaumont, he was the son of the late Frankie Gaudet and the late Bella Belliveau. He worked as a crane operator for Brunswick Crane until his retirement. He was a member and past president of the Golden Age Club of Pré-D’en-Haut. He will be sadly missed by his wife Odette; two sons, Serge (Laurianne) Gaudet of Pré-D’en-Haut and Jacques (Nadine) Gaudet of Belliveau Village; four grandchildren: Céline, Simon, Anika and Valérie; four sisters, Bernice (late Paul) Cormier of Fox Creek, Annette (late Dollard) LeBlanc of Belliveau Village, Claudette (Rheal) LeBlanc of Beaumont and Aline (Allain) LeBlanc of Cormier’s Cove; four brothers, Leonce (Aline) Gaudet of Belliveau Village, Jean Gaudet of St-Joseph, Georges (Carmella) Gaudet and Marcel (Suzanne) Gaudet both of Beaumont and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Jeannine and by one brother Roger. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pré-D’en-Haut on Friday, May 23 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to the personnel of the Dr Leon Richard Oncology center, extra-mural nurses and the palliative unit of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. dupuisfuneralhome.ca
