Obituary for Lorraine Bastarache

1922 - 2010 - Lorraine Bastarache, 87, of McNair Manor and formerly of Cornhill Street, Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, October 31st, 2010, at her residence. Born in Ste Marie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Marie (née: Melanson) Cormier. Mrs. Bastarache was a housewife and dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by three daughters: Diane (Jimmy) Kenny of Upper Coverdale, Lucille McCurdy (Allie) and Yvette (Chris) Beaman, both of Moncton; one son, Raymond (Bonnie) of Plaster Rock, NB; three sisters: Jeanne LeBlanc of Moncton, Irene Goguen and Aline LeBlanc, both of Dieppe; one brother, Christophe Cormier of Dieppe; 10 grandchildren; Shelley, Jeff, Tina, Shawn, Robbie, Julie, Damien, Carrie, Mark and Alyssa Rae; nine great grandchildren: Justin, Joshua, Kleighton, Brooke, Kayla, Kacey, Carson, Ava and Isaac as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Yvon in 2008; three sisters: Beatrice, Rita and Marguerite and also by four brothers; Telex, Theodore, Antoine and Albert. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 1pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at 2 pm. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe NB. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
