Obituary for Beverly Wood

WOOD, BEVERLY - Mr. Beverly Wood of Coles Island passed away on July 10, 2014 at the age of 75. He was the son of the late John and Isabelle (Perry) Wood. Bev is survived by his wife Eva (Ryder); his daughters: Joan St. Pierre of Coles Island and Virginia Aubin and her husband Basile of Hunters Home; his sons: Martin Wood of Cumberland Bay, Ralph Wood of Fredericton, Larry Wood and his wife Lynn of Coles Island and Benjamin Stevens and his wife Shannon of Youngs Cove; his brothers, Charlie Wood and his wife Marjorie of Hunters Home and Jerry Wood and his wife Judy of Drury's Cove; his sisters Hilda Thorne and her husband Ron of Edmonton and Elizabeth Steen of Apohaqui; his grandchildren: Cassandra, Tiffany, Tina, Tonya, Jeffery, Tyler, Mitchell, Michael, Mark, Randy, Ethan and Alexys; his great-grandchildren: Myah, Ava, Emma, Axel, Lenox, Matthew, Austin and Hudson; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Wood of Mahone Bay as well as several nieces and nephews. Bev was predeceased by his grandson, Spencer Wood;his brother Earl; his sisters Dorothy Beach-Daigle, Vera Jeffrey and Bernice Sleep and her husband Leon as well as his brother-in-law Johnnie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at 11:00am.
