Obituary for Blake Sherwood

SHERWOOD, BLAKE - Blake Alexander Sherwood of Apohaqui passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 12, 2012 at the age of 14. He was the son of Wayne and Margaret (Hutton) Sherwood. Besides his parents, Blake Alexander is survived by his brother Brandan; his maternal grandparents Bob and Judy Hutton of Roachville; his paternal grandmother Yvonne (Mallory) Sherwood of Poodiac; aunts and uncles: Carolyn Arsenault (Rod) of Barnesville, Bruce Hutton (Lorie) of Sussex, Carol Arnold (Jim) of Newline, Marilyn Sherwood (Greg) of Grand Prairie and Cheryl Curbishley (Geoff) of Wards Creek; cousins: Ben, Meghan, Cole, Aaron, Colby, Darcy, Michael and Shelby. Blake is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Doug Sherwood who passed away in 1993. Blake was a student at Sussex High School who loved his family, friends, sports and his dirtbike. The family will receive relatives and friends that wish to say goodbye to Blake at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Blake Alexander’s life will be held from St. Pauls United Church on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2:00pm. Donations made to the IWK or to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
