Obituary for Helen D'Entremont

D’ENTREMONT, HELEN ALMA - Surrounded by her family, the death of Helen D’Entremont, wife of the late James E. D’Entremont occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2011. She was born on May 20, 1931 at Saint John to the late Wallace and Jennie (Snow) Guthrie. Helen was a member of St. James Anglican Church (Broad Street); volunteered for the Inner City Youth Ministry Chicken Noodle Soup Club for 12 years. She was an avid bowler and a member of the South End Senior Stars. Helen also attended South Central Meetings of MADD being past-treasurer. She is survived by sons: James D’Entremont (Lynn) and Wayne Carson; daughters: Katherine Page (David), Debbie Doucet (Leo), Bonnie D’Entremont (Blair) and Grace Murphy (Lloyd); sister, Mildred LeBlanc (Paul); 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents and sister Phyllis Rafuse. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
