Obituary for JAMES STEPHEN MURRAY

MURRAY, JAMES STEPHEN - The death of James Stephen Murray of 45 Davenport Ave., husband of Beryl E. (Losier) Murray, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, April 15, 2005. Mr. Murray was born in Saint John, a son of the late Sam and Mary (Delorey) Murray, and had been employed as a stevedore until his retirement a number of years ago. He was an avid harness racing fan and was well-known in the City Market. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Robert (Deborah) and Stephen (Charlene), both of Saint John, and Kenneth (Rena) of St. Stephen; one daughter, Judith O'Ree (Vincent) of Saint John; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
