Obituary for Margaret MacDonald

MacDONALD, MARGARET Margaret’s journey has come to an end after a long four year courageous battle with cancer. Marg is now onto another adventure with her sister and father. Lived all her life in Welsford, NB. Margaret is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband Ralph MacDonald, her loving mother Mavis Vallis, her cherished sons Andrew Carhart (Jennifer Jaye), precious grandbabies Olivia and Beatrice, son Troy Carhart (Amanda) precious granddaughter Andi, step-daughters Wendy Betts (Charles) and Shelly MacDonald (Colin), three step-grandchildren (Shawna, Kristen, and Jessie), four step-great-grandchildren (Cody, Kailey, Isabella and Miguel), brothers David Vallis, children: Anne, Timmy, Katie, Davie, Wendy, James, 'Did' Edward Vallis (Beth) children: Maggie Jordan, Kayla, chosen brother Dave Galbraith (Valerie), her extended family and friends are the family we choose for ourselves and you are many. Predeceased by her father Edward Vallis and Sister Evelyn Vallis. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Saturday April 16th, from 2 to 8pm with a celebration of Marg's life at Castle Funeral Home at 2pm on Sunday, April 17th. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Welsford Valley Cemetery Fund, Bobby's Hospice or simply pay something forward- do something good for someone else! www.castlefh.com
