Obituary for Michael Hebert

HEBERT, CONSTABLE MICHAEL PAUL It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Paul Hebert on April 20, 2015. He was born November 15, 1971 to Marlene (Roberts) (Hebert) Perry and the late Norbert Hebert. He was married to the love of his life, Marilyn (Kane) Hebert, and was a devoted and loving father to Taylor Lynn Hebert and Bryce Michael Hebert. He was a caring and charismatic person who was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Mike was a graduate of Saint John High School, and he also graduated from the Atlantic Police Academy in 2007. He was a Constable with the Saint John Police Force, a job he was very passionate about. Before attending the Police Academy, he was a conductor with NB Southern Railway and was well known as “Big Mike” at the Blue Store in Fundy Heights. In addition to his loving wife and children, Mike was survived by his brother, Jody (Debi) and their children, Matthieu and Mia; grandfather, Jack Perry; brother-in-law, Allan Kane (Andrea) and their children, Sam and Anna; special uncle, Teddy Roberts (Dale); as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Norbert, and his step-father, David Perry. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 and Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances to the SPCA- Animal Rescue or the Junior Police Academy would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
