Obituary for Pauline Lindsay

LINDSAY, PAULINE ALEMEDA The death of Pauline Lindsay of Saint John wife of the late William Lindsay occurred on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 20, 1922 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Sylvias and Edith (Sedegren) Seely. Pauline devoted her life to taking care of her family and treasured the times spent with those she loved. She always held a special place in her heart for animals and enjoyed music and the beauty of flowers. Pauline will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Pauline is survived by her children, William Lindsay (Kathy) of Saint John, Bonita Martin (Frank) of Hatfield Point, Terrance Lindsay (Anna), Dorita Lindsay, Darella Jackson, Dana Lindsay (Karen) and Melody Cole (Ron) all of Saint John; siblings, Ruth Klassen (George) and Sylvia Kelley (Gerry) all of British Columbia and William Seely (Gail) of Hampton; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her children, Daryl, Robert and Carol; siblings, John, Sylvias "Bud", Jessie in infancy, Yvonne and Virginia; as well as grandchildren, William Lindsay, Robin Lindsay, Wayne Lindsay and Pauline Martin. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue. www.BrenansFH.com
