Obituary for SCOTT KENNETH MOORE

MOORE, SCOTT KENNETH It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Kenneth Moore announce his passing. His brave battle with cancer ended on September 13, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock, NB on December 28, 1975, Scott spent his early years in Nackawic, NB. Following graduation from the Nackawic High School, he moved to Edmonton, Alberta where he lived until March of 2007. During his 12 years in Edmonton, Scott worked as a health care worker specializing in those with disabilities. In both places, Scott's outgoing personality and love of people made him a joy to be around. He will be remembered as a wonderful son and brother as well as a loyal friend. He is survived by his parents, Ann and Ken Moore of Nackawic; his sister, Alyson Hirtle (her husband Austin and their daughter, Zoe) of Barrie, Ontario; his maternal grandparents, William and Vera Hutt of Saint John; his aunts and uncles, Gail Crain (Frank), Jane Shannon, Jack Moore (Rita), Linda Caverhill (Michael), Robert Hutt (Jean), Barbara Hutt (Kevin) and many other close friends and cousins join his parents in sorrow. Scott was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Cynthia Moore who lived in Pokiok, NB Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Kirk United Church of Canada, 29 Landegger Drive, Nackawic on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Scott, the family has suggested the Kirk United Church, Barony Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice. www.flewellingswan.com
