Obituary for Normand Arsenault

1931 – 2016
Normand Arsenault, 85, of Oasis, Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016, at his residence. Born in Grande Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Emile and the late Roseanne (née: Caissie) Arsenault.

Prior to retirement, Normand had worked for C.U. Belliveau in Shediac. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards “200 and crib” and horseshoe. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Saint–Anselme Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Eva (née: LeBlanc); four daughters: Denise (Richard) Leger of Memramcook, Janice (Gerald) Gauvin of Dieppe, Stella (Ronnie) Melanson of Saint–Andre–LeBlanc and Angela (Richard) McGraw of Dieppe; two sons: Clovis (Linda Vegelan) of Moncton and Eddy (Shelly Mockler) of Dieppe; three sisters: Therese (Laurie) LeBlanc of Waltham, Mass, Jeannine (Bobby) Arsenault and Marie (Leon) LeBlanc, both of Shediac; three brothers: Jean (Jeannette) of Nova Scotia, Leonard (Suzanne) and Tilmon (Gloria), both of Shediac; five grandchildren: Marc, Jacynte, Charline, Robin and Geneva; one great grandson, Kory; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one daughter, Anne–Marie; one grandson, Gabriel and also by three brothers: Donald, Roger and Lucien.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857–1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint–Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Monday, October 17th, 2016 at 2 pm. Interment in Saint–Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.
