Obituary for Mayme Gregg

Mayme “Jean” Gregg (nee Henderson), 63, of Berwick, passed away on November 17, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born in Sussex, she was a daughter of Cecil Henderson of Hampton and Freda Nickerson (nee Tait) of Sussex. Jean enjoyed knitting, and knit countless items for Legacy Lane. She also loved to colour with her granddaughter for hours at a time.

Besides her parents, Jean is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth Gregg; her son Scott Gregg (Becky) of Sussex; her grandchildren: Brett & Jillian; her sisters: Marguerite Harris (Wayne) of Smith Creek, Lois Richardson (Randy) of Sussex, and Cindi Estey (Eric) of Moncton; as well as many extended family members and friends. She will also be greatly missed by her feline companions: Billy & Bucky (the Bob Brothers).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB (506–433–2133). Visitation will be held on Monday November 21, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm; the funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim MacDonald presiding, in the funeral home chapel.

Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences are available at: www.sussexfh.com
