Obituary for Dana Hudson

(1971–2016)
REXTON, NB – It is with great sadness that the family of Dana Edward Hudson announce his sudden passing on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at home. Born in Rexton, NB he was the son of Anson and Susan (LeBlanc) Hudson.

He is also survived by his sister, Wendy Welsh (John) of Acton, MA, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Grace Hudson and Arthur and Rita LeBlanc.

Dana was a unique, private and very independent person. He had a logical and matter–of–fact nature, was a great conversationalist and had unwavering morals and principles. Dana also had a tremendous work ethic, having worked from the age of 16 at local businesses to owning his own car detailing business. In 2004 he joined the team at Richibucto Motors where he remained employed until his passing.

Dana had a love of animals, especially dogs. He had taken many rescues into his home. Donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Until we meet again, Dana, you will be remembered in our words and thoughts and cherished in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday at 10:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Service will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523–4252).
