Obituary for Geoffrey Armstrong

The death of Geoffrey Brian George Armstrong husband of Tammy (Crabbe) Armstrong occurred on Monday February 13, 2017 at his home in Morrisdale, NB after a period of illness.

Geoff is survived by his wife, his three children Taylor, Lily and Carson; his mother Christine (Glendon) Johnson of Lower Greenwich, NB; his father Wayne (Judith) Armstrong of Morrisdale, NB; his brother Greg (Heather) of Grand Bay–Westfield; his sister Trish (Karl) Hoyt of Quispamsis; step-brothers Glen Jr. (Kelly) Johnson, Daryl (Stephanie) McCrory, Michael (Jessica) McCrory; step-sisters Tammy (Steve) Swan, Kelly (Gordon) Johnson; his mother–in–law Martha Crabbe; brothers–in–law Jerry and Joel Crabbe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Gladys Mullin and Raymond and Phyllis Armstrong.

Geoff loved his wife and his children and found great pleasure in helping others. He worked all over North America and had many friends. He loved his job as a “Heat Technician” and missed it very much when his health did not allow him to work.

The family would like to thank the staff of 5A South at the SJRH and all the Doctors who worked so hard to treat the disease “Amyloidosis” that Geoff had suffered from.

A brief celebration of Geoff’s life will be held at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm, immediately followed by a visitation and reception.

Remembrances may be made to Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network or the charity of thedonor’s choice. Arrangements under the direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home. 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506–634–7425).
