Obituary for Sheila Howard

The passing of Sheila Ann Howard of Keswick, NB, wife of the late Leigh Howard occurred on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Hospice House. Born on January 18, 1940 in Millville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Jean (Allen) Hull.

Sheila’s passion was sewing; she also enjoyed walking and cross country skiing. She retired from a long career in Customer Service for NB Tel.

Sheila is survived by her daughter, Karen Howard; son, J. Kirk Howard (Tammy Hatfield); grandchildren, Danielle Veilleux, Jared Scott, Patrick Scott and Rebecca McLellan; great–grandchild, Brooke Scott; brother, Marcus Hull (Mary) of Dartmouth, NS; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Katherine Ciupaszuk, Myrtle Drolet and Vivian Matchett; brothers, Gordon, Clinton and Kenneth Hull.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 1 to 2 pm followed by a Celebration of Sheila’s Life at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Hawkins Corner Cemetery at a later date.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
