Obituary for William Delaney

William Gregory (Gregg) Delaney, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, February 14th, at the age of 60. He was the special son of Paul and Georgia Delaney of Moncton.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Gary (Shirley) of Prince George B–C and Gordon (Irene) of Calgary AB; one sister, RuthAnne (David Hatchard) of Moncton; his nephews: Grant Delaney, Craig Delaney and Sean Hatchard as well as one niece, Sheena Hatchard (Mark LeBlanc).

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their thanks to all the people who have had contact with Gregg during his lifetime. Especially the family of the late Al and Rita MacNeil and the nurses and staff of the third floor, unit E, at the George–L–Dumont.

In memory of Gregg, a donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
