Obituary for Adrienne Lavoie

1918 – 2017
Adrienne Lavoie, 99, wife of the late Henri Lavoie of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Serenacare Special Care Home. Born March 12, 1918 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and Célina (Richard) Boudreau.

She is survived by five children: Janice Carter (Wayne), Pierre (Susan), Marthe Lavoie (late Eric Bourgeois), Jocelyne Lavoie, and Simone Jobin (Jacques); nine grandchildren: Christopher (Natasha), Andrew (Darlene), Tim (Jana), Stephanie, Julie, Mathieu (Manon), Danika (Gabriel), Elyse (Marc–Antoine), and Josée (Jean–Sébastien); three great–children: Tanya (Patrice), James and Malcolm. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her husband Henri (1999), Adrienne is also predeceased by a sister, Adèle; three brothers: Antoine, Bernard, and Fr. Benoît Boudreau.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ–Roi Roman Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, Thursday, April 13 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Au Serenacare Special Care Home de Moncton, le lundi 10 avril 2017, est décédée à l’âge de 99 ans, Adrienne Lavoie, épouse de feu Henri Lavoie. Née le 12 mars 1918 à Moncton, elle était la fille de feu Alphée et Célina (Richard) Boudreau.

Elle laisse dans le deuil cinq enfants: Janice Carter (Wayne), Pierre (Susan), Marthe Lavoie (feu Eric Bourgeois), Jocelyne Lavoie, et Simone Jobin (Jacques); neuf petits–enfants: Christopher (Natasha), Andrew (Darlene), Tim (Jana), Stephanie, Julie, Mathieu (Manon), Danika (Gabriel), Elyse (Marc–Antoine), et Josée (Jean–Sébastien); trois arrière–petits–enfants: Tanya (Patrice), James, et Malcolm; plusieurs nièces et neveux. Elle était la dernière survivante de sa famille immédiate.

Outre son époux Henri (1999), Adrienne fut précédée dans la tombe par sa soeur, Adèle; trois frères: Antoine, Bernard, et Benoît Boudreau ptre.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Centre funéraire et de crémation Frenette, 88, rue Church, Moncton (858–1900). Les heures de visite sont mercredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h seulement. Les funérailles seront célébrées en l’église Christ–Roi, 300, rue Dominion, Moncton, le jeudi 13 avril à 11h. L’inhumation se fera dans le cimetière Notre–Dame–du–Calvaire, Dieppe.
