Obituary for Verda Scott

1922 – 2017
Verda E. "Dolly" Scott, passed away peacefully at McNair Manor on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the age of 94. Born in Nauwigewauk, NB.

She will be sadly missed by her family; son Frank (Grace), daughter, Faye (Bill), Doug (Cinda); grandchildren, Frank Jr. , Krista (Gerald), Stacey (Brent), Kevin (Leeann), Nicholas (Jen), Jeremy (Mao), Josh; 11 great–grandchildren, Ethan, Amber, Riley, Emily, Jordan, Tristan, Asher, Chloe, Rylan, Simone, and Kiyu.

In addition to her parents, Verda was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Fraser, and her second husband, Douglas Scott, grandson, Scott, and by son–in–law, Donnie. Verda was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

The family would like to thank the staff at McNair Manor for the great care Verda received during her time there.

Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating Verda’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm with a reception following the service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Cemetery.

If desired, the family would appreciate donations to The Alzheimer’s Society.
