Obituary for Roxanne Daigle

It is with sadness that the family of Roxanne Daigle announces her passing which occurred at her residence on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Born on January 1, 1949 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Osborne) MacLeod. She was the spouse of the late Francis Maillet.

Roxanne is survived by her sons: Britt Nickerson (Cathy) and Chris Smith, her daughter Andrea Nickerson (Wayne), brother Britt MacLeod, step–son Clarence Maillet (Pam), her grandchildren: Timothy Daly, Robert Nickerson, Kelsey Nickerson, Isabel Nickerson, Gwenyth Smith, Katelyn Kyffin, Justin Johnston and Travis Gagne, her great–grandchildren: Seth, Ross and Evan Saunders, Keegan and Kaisen Johnston–Baily, her nephews: Andrew MacLeod (Danielle) and their son Conner, Jeffrey (Candace) MacLeod and their children Calvin and Amelia and Trevor MacLeod (Stacy) and their children Aria and Lincoln, several cousins and friend Richard Kenny.

Besides her parents and spouse, Francis, Gussie was predeceased by her husband Leonard Daigle, brother Dennis MacLeod, cousin David Osborne and best friend Debbie Kenny.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424) where visitation will be held on Monday, May 22 from 2–4 and 6–8. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 1:00 pm from the Church of the Good Shepherd, 668 Manawagonish Road, west with Rev. Chris McMullen officiating.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Extra Mural Program, Kidney Foundation or the ALS Society and online condolences can be placed at www.brenansfh.com
