Obituary for Arthur Richard

1928 – 2017
Arthur Richard passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Born in St. Norbert, a son of the late Philias and Emilie (Bastarache) Richard.

Arthur will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years Marie (Leger) Richard, two sons; Maurice (Gisele), Denis (Rachelle) and two daughters; Monique Richard (Roger Surette), Gloria Doiron (John Landry). Arthur is also survived by four grandchildren Renee Arsenault, Mario Richard, Stephanie Surette and Melanie Doiron, one great grandson Austin Arsenault as well as one sister Eveline Leblanc and three brothers; Yvon (Anna), Willie (Maria) and Roger (Yvette).

Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by two sisters Aulina and Nellie.

Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, May 21 from 7 – 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, May 22 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will be held in the St. Norbert RC Cemetery.

Donations in Arthur's memory may be given to the family.
