Obituary for Edith Ferris

It is with sadness that the family of Edith Ferris announces her death on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at the age of 75. Born in Mill Cove, NB, on January 29th, 1942, she joins her husband of 58 years, the late Winslow T. Ferris.

Edith leaves behind her children, Carl Ferris (Pauline Lewis) of Fredericton, NB, and Terry Ferris (Patricia Cashmore) of Hanwell, NB; grandchildren, Gregory Ferris of Calgary, AB and Melissa Ferris of Fredericton; sisters, Sharon Dickinson (Ricky) and Darlene Kilfilen (Ricky) of Chipman, NB; brother–in–law, Calvin Ferris (Linda); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Winslow, Edith was predeceased by her parents, Hazen and Madeline (Clarke) Moss; and nephew, Jeremy Dickinson.

Edith worked at different jobs during her life but was, for the most part, a wife and home maker. She loved her family, her birds and doing word puzzles.

In keeping with Edith's wishes, a private family gathering and interment in Oromocto Pioneer Gardens will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edith's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be made at www.oromoctofh.com, 357–5100.
