Obituary for Alyre Bourque

1938 – 2017
Grande–Digue, NB – Alyre Bourque, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Centre, in Moncton on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, after a brief illness. Born in Grande–Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Onésime and Zélia (LeBlanc) Bourque.

Alyre will be sadly missed by his wife, Annette; his son, Charles (Jacqueline) of Grande–Digue; his two daughters, Nicole (Claude) of Shediac Bridge and Marielle (David) of Grande–Digue; his sister, Thérèse (Edmond) of Grande–Digue; his two brothers, Néri (Florence) of Grande–Digue and Emile (Louise) of Saint–Anselme; his five granddaughters, Mélanie, Christine, Emilie, Lucie and Josée; his great–granddaughter, Zoë; and also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Désiré, Gérard, Eric and one son–in–law, Claude Thibodeau.

Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Co–operative in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation before the funeral. Funeral mass will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande–Digue on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30 am. A reception will follow.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff of the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont UHC, Unit 4C, for their kindness and special care given to Alyre.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the CHU Dumont foundation (Oncology Dept.) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at:
