Obituary for Oliva Despres

1925–2017
Oliva Despres passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 91. She was the wife of Donat Despres. Born on October 15, 1925; she was the daughter of the late Amede Langis and the late Rosalie Bourgeois.

Besides her husband, she will be greatly missed by her children: Jean–Paul (Noella), Simone, Denise (Eugene), Jacques (Annette), Marcel (Showna) and Donald; 20 grandchildren; 29 great–grandchildren; two sisters: Blanche LeBlanc et Elise Leger as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by two daughters: Fernande and Francine; her brothers and sisters: Albert, Valerie, Alphonse, Henri, Ernest, Yvon, Alphé, Felix, Louis, Yvonne Gaudet, Lorette, Germaine Gaudet and Lilianne Gaudet.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at 11am in the Notre–Dame–de–la–Paix Roman Catholic Church (87 Murphy Ave, Moncton). Interment will take place at Notre–Dame Cemetery in Kent County.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Moncton Hospital (Geriatric department) for the great care they provided to Oliva.

In memory of Oliva, a donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
