Obituary for Bernie Breau

Bernie Breau, 59, passed away on Friday June 16th at the Moncton City Hospital. He was predeceased by his father Walter, and his brother Dan.

He leaves behind his loving mother Eva, daughter Brigitte (Jean–François) , son Jacob, brother Terry, sisters Bea (Bruce) and Kerrie (Kevin), his partner Nancy, his former wife Murielle (née Gagnon) and many beloved cousins and friends.

Those of you who knew Bernie may remember him as a devoted father, a carman at CN, an avid fisherman, an excellent carpenter who could build anything, a super gardener and a man very handy with a chainsaw. He was a very loving man with a kind soul, always doing for others. Think of him when you’re in nature, when you plant a seed, when you catch a trout, when you lend a helping hand to a friend or a stranger. When in need of guidance, ask yourself « What would Bernie do? » His answer would always the simple one. Be kind, be loving, respect all creatures and live in the moment.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 20th at Frenette’s Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church St, Moncton from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cavalier Riding Club or the Nature Trust of New Brunswick.
