Obituary for Irma Cormier

Irma Cormier, 90, of Moncton, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont UHC. Born on September 11, 1926 in Notre Dame, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Geneviève LeBlanc.

She is survived by her five sons: Val (Shirley) and Gérard, both of Riverview, Uldege (Gisèle), Michel (Louise) and Jacques, of Moncton; five grandchildren: Tracey, Krista, Mathieu, Natasha and Danielle; six great–grandchildren: Sarah, Joshua, Ayla, Lucie, Cédric and Connor. She is also survived by a special family friend, Francine Hébert.

Besides her husband Premelite, she was predeceased by one sister, Lorraine and one brother, Edouard.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900) on Sunday, June 25, from 7 to 9 pm and Monday, June 26, from 9 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ–Roi Roman Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Monday, June 26 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
