Obituary for Sterling Hambrook

Mr. Sterling Wilson Hambrook, husband of Melva (Coughlan) Hambrook of 116 McNeil Street, Renous NB, passed away Saturday morning July 8, 2017 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 82.Born in Renous NB, he was the son of the late Mark and Susan (Underhill) Hambrook.

He was a retired business man and also a former MLA South West Miramichi P.C.

Besides his wife Melva, he is survived by two daughters, Janice Sullivan (Richard) of Renous, Constance Hambrook (Chester Jablonski) of Renous, one son, Paul Hambrook (Shirley) of Miramichi, two sisters, Leslie Hustins of Bedford NS, Judy Travis of Renous, one brother, William Hambrook (Wanda) of Calhoun NB, eight grandchildren and nine great–grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Donald, Mark, Perley and Floyd Hambrook and one sister, Isa Reid.

Mr. Sterling Wilson Hambrook is resting at his late residence, 116 McNeil Street, Renous, with visitation on Sunday evening after 7p.m. and Monday after 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at his late residence on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor John Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Gray Rapids Pentecostal Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Davidson’s Funeral Home (622–7464) or online at www.davidsonsfh.com your family owned – family operated funeral home.
