Obituary for Roselys LeBlanc

1927 – 2017
The death of Roselys Marie LeBlanc (Rose) occurred July 15, 2017 at the George Dumont Hospital in Moncton, NB. Rose was born in Moncton on September 15, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Willie T. and Roselle LeBlanc.

Rose graduated from Moncton High School in 1946 and spent her entire career working at Traders Finance (Trans Canada Credit). She retired from Traders and worked for several years at Moncton’s Better Business Bureau (Equifax). She was a special aunt and a special great aunt to many nieces and nephews and a wonderful godmother to Diane.

Rose is survived by one sister–in–law, Marie LeBlanc of Riverview, NB; two cousins: Leonard Boudreau (Camilla) of Dieppe and Florence Wilson of Bangor, Main; five nieces: Kathy (Glenn) LeBlanc–Wilnik of Caladonia, ON, Karen (Ken) McIver of Etobicoke, ON, Diane (Tom) Gillett of Chipman, NB, Donna MacInnis of Calgary, AB, and Darlene Lam of Delta, BC; three nephews: Michael French of Brockway, NB, Bill French and Peter French both of Nanaimo, BC; two grandnephews: David Gillett (Roxanne) of Hammonds Plains, NS and Liam MacInnis of Calgary, AB and four grandnieces: Heather MacDonald (Scott) of Keswick Rd, NB, Nicole Lam and Becky Lam both of Delta, BC and Emily MacInnis of Calgary, AB.

She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Flora French in 2016 and a brother Gerry LeBlanc in 1993.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of the Word will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857–1901), on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Reception to follow. Interment in Saint–Thomas de Memramcook Parish Cemetery.
