Obituary for Aline Leger

1934 – 2017
Aline Leger, 83, of Foyer Saint–Thomas, Memramcook and formerly of Lakeburn, passed away on Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at her residence. Born in Cormier’s Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Stella (née: LeBlanc) Landry.

She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Notre–Dame de Lorette parish (Lakeburn).

She is survived by two daughters: Denise (Bernard) LeBlanc and Nicole (Cy) Poirier, both of Dieppe; one son, Paul (Ida) of Dieppe; one sister, Angela (David) Breau of Moncton; one brother: Rhéal (Huguette) of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Carole, Christine, Chantal, Natasha and Marc; five great–grandchildren: Sophie, Vanessa, Zoë, Xavier and Jayden; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dollard on April 4th, 2017; five sisters: Lina, Andréa, Marie–Paule, Rachelle and baby Marie–Blanche and also by three brothers: Armand, Valerie and Leopold.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857–1901) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 9:30 am until time of departure. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre–Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn on Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 11 am. Interment in Notre–Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
