Obituary for Maggie Melanson

1996–2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Maggie Melanson wish to announce her passing which occurred on Thursday, August 10th, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 21. Born in Bathurst, Maggie was the daughter of Jeannie O’Neill–Melanson (Mike) and Marc Melanson (Angela).

Besides her parents of Bathurst, she survived by two brothers: Thomas and David, both at home; her Papa, (Clovis Melanson) of Bathurst; she is also survived by her four Angelic caregivers: Fernande, Hélène, Carm and Yolande; four aunts, one uncle and cousins in Miramichi.

She was predeceased by her Grandma and Grandpa O’Neill and Nana Melanson.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at the Elhatton Funeral Chapel from 2 p.m.from where a celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. followed by a reception.

In Memory of Maggie, donations maybe made to the Parkwood Heights Elementary School breakfast program would be appreciated.
