Obituary for Deborah Smith

1953 – 2017
It is with great sadness that, we the family wish to announce the sudden passing of Deborah “Debbie” Smith which occurred at her residence on Tuesday August 8, 2017. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Evangeline (Roy) Lavigne.

She is survived by three children: Steward (Nadine) and Joshua Lewis both of Bathurst and Jennifer Lewis (Karl) of Petit–Rocher; two grandchildren: William and Louis–Charles; Debbie is also survived by two brothers and four sisters: Lorine Lavigne of Bathurst, Nancy Deparnay (late Guy) of Toronto, Ont., Maria Furlotte (Norman) of Bathurst, Joey Lavigne (Cindy) of Calgary, Alb., Robert Lavigne of Burnaby, B.C., Claudette Lavigne of Bathurst; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at 4 pm from the Evangel Pentecostal Church, Basin Rd., Bathurst.
