Obituary for Lorraine Jaillet

1929 – 2017
Lorraine Jaillet, 88, of Bouctouche and formerly of Dixon Point, passed away peacefully at the Manoir Saint–Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche on Thursday August 24, 2017. She was married to the late Ernest Jaillet (2014). Born in Saint–Grégoire, she was the daughter of the late Hector and the late Olive (Melanson) Cormier.

Lorraine was a school teacher in Kent County for approximately 10 yrs, and also a volunteer at Manoir Saint–Jean Baptiste for numerous years.

She will be sadly missed by her sister Victorine Cormier of Saint–Grégoire, her sister–in–law, Aline Cormier of Dixon Point, two nieces Ginette and Claudette and one nephew Maurice as well as one grandnephew Alexis and grandniece Érika.

She was predeceased by her four brothers; Paul, Zoël, Eric and Yvon.

Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday August 27, 2017 from 7 to 9 and Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint–Jean Baptiste Church Bouctouche on Monday August 28 at 2:00 pm, with interment in the parish cemetery.

In Lorraine’s memory donations may be made to the Manoir Saint–Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.

Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
