Obituary for J. Marcel Levesque

June 26, 1947 –September 9, 2017
At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, September 9, 2017, Mr. J. Marcel Levesque passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He was born in Belledune, NB to the late Jules and Priscilla Levesque.

Left to cherish his memory, are his wife Louiselle "Louise" (Plourde), his daughter Andrea, son–in–law Kaven Verville and his greatest joy, grandchildren: Jacob and Annabel. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Gerry, Edmonton, AB, Patrick (Peggy Carrier), Belledune, NB, Veronica (Eldric Furlotte), Moncton, NB, Genevieve (Jean–Claude Guitard), Pointe–Verte, NB, Marie (Gabe Lapointe), Belledune, NB, Brenda (Nelson Turnbull), Fredericton, NB, Darlene (Kevin Godfrey), Fredericton, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Clement, sisters Maurilla and Sheila.

Marcel lived in Saint John for over 40 years, worked at Custom Fabricators & Machinist/Fleetway Facility Services. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grand–papa, a dear friend and a caring person. An avid sports fan, the Montreal Canadien’s and the Saint John Sea Dogs lost their number one hockey fan.

Resting at Bellavance funeral Home, 153 Canada Road in Edmundston, NB, with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. His funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the St–Jacques Church with interment in the Notre–Dame–des–Sept–Douleurs Cemetery.
