Obituary for Alma Warren

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alma Louise Warren at Frederick Hall – Shannex, Fredericton and formerly of New Maryland, NB on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at the age of 76. Alma was born in Maxwell, NB on October 31st, 1940, daughter of the late Earle and Veronica (Ballah) Watson and the eldest of nine children.

She graduated from Lady Dunn Trade School as an RNA, and worked at hospitals in Woodstock and Fredericton and at York Manor. Alma then changed careers and returned to the Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton as a Phlebotomist. She was a kind hearted person who always put others ahead of herself, and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Dennis; children Martin (Andrea) Warren of Ottawa, ON, Debbie (Jamie) Pembleton of Fredericton, Margaret (Lorne) Hanson of Fredericton; two grandchildren Jacob and Dylan Pembleton; siblings Sheila Johnson (Sheldon) of Welsford, NB, John “Jack” Watson (Diane) of Fredericton, Wealtha “Wealthy” Watson of Fredericton, Sandra “Sandy” Gilbert (Bill) of Guilford, ME; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Bobby, Bill, Earle and Randy Watson.

No visitation or service by request of the family. An interment will be held at a later date.

Contributions to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
