Obituary for Anita Laskey

It is with sadness that the family of the late Anita Theresa Laskey announce her death which occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born in Saint John, NB on February 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late George and Emily (Gallant) Laskey.

Anita could often be heard playing her mouth organ at the City Market Gates and now she’s at the Pearly Gates of Heaven.

She is survived by her brothers: Bob Laskey (Anita) and Frank Corbin (Ruth); sister, Madeline Parlee; along with several special nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Anita was predeceased by her brothers: Lloyd and Edward Laskey.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424). Visitation with be held at the Loch Lomond Village Celebration Room # 2, 164 Loch Lomond Road, on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10 AM to 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Loch Lomond Village Celebration Room # 2 on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10 AM. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 10 AM.
