Obituary for Samuel LeBlanc

Samuel "Sammy" LeBlanc of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on September 25, 2017 at the age of 91. Born on November 4, 1925, in Breau Creek, he was the son of the late Sebastien and Mary–Angela (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

He worked as a machinist instructor at the Dorchester Penitentiary until his retirement. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of the Moncton Legion.

He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Patricia LeBlanc of Moncton and Diane (Louis) Landry of Taylor Village, three sons, Ronald (Marcia) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Guy (Janice) LeBlanc of Moncton and Kim (Johanne Quesnel) of Grand–Sault, four grandchildren, Gino, Brigitte, Chantal and Stephanie, four great grandchildren, Isaiah, Samuel, Ryder and Brody, his special friend, Cemida, one daughter–in–law, Dianne, one sister, Julia (late Henri) Cormier of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Doris (2002), two sons, Charles (infant) and Normand, three sisters, Anne, Hilda and Helena and eight brothers Arthur, Pat, Eddee, Leroy, James, Allie, Valmore and Delbert.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St–Joseph on Friday, September 29 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
