Obituary for Dorilla Cormier

Dorilla Cormier, 86, of the Villa Providence in Shediac and formerly of Scoudouc passed away on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at the Villa Providence. Born on August 5th, 1931 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Edmée (Landry) Gaudet.

She is survived by her three children: Michel (Judy), Annette (Ronald Jr) Gould, Roland(Marie–Anne); brothers and sister: Eddy (Delina), Ernest (Bernadette), Laurie (Ella), Diane Richard (late Emery Gaudet); five grandchildren: Isabelle, André, Denis, Jacques, Melanie; one great-grandchild: Alexandre.

She was predeceased by her husband Roger (2000); one brother: Léo and one sister: Doris Leblanc.

Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Dr. Georges–L–Dumont Hospital, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, she also loved her days at the camp and her summers at her cottage in Barachois.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, on Friday 9:30 am till time of departure 10:35 am. The funeral mass will be held and St–Jacques Le Majeur Roman Catholic Church in Scoudouc on Friday, October 13th at 11:00 a.m.

In memory of Dorilla, a contribution to the Cimetière de Scoudouc would be appreciated.
