Obituary for M. E. Doreen MacWilliam

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of M. E. Doreen MacWilliam, age 88, of Sackville. Doreen passed away at the Drew Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 with family by her side. Born in Chesley, Ont, she was a daughter of the late David and Ida (Fullerton) Hewitson.

She will be sadly missed by sons, Robert (Doris) of Westcock, NB and Donald (Wenjun) of Halifax, NS; daughter Susan (Terry) Richards, Sackville, eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Carol Brown, Tweed, Ont.

She was predeceased by her husbands Jerry Cook and Wilbur MacWilliam; granddaughter Sarah; brother Kenneth Hewitson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506–364–1300). A public graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1 pm at the Sackville Cemetery, Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating.
