Obituary for Anthony Stamper

Anthony “Tony” J. Stamper, 53, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Margaret (Akerman) Stamper of Moncton and the late Alexander Stamper.

In addition to his mother, Margaret, Tony is survived by his stepbrothers and sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Steven Stamper (2009).

Tony wanted to thank all his nieces, nephews and family members for the love and care they have shown him and to his caregivers and medical staff for their compassion over the years.

In honouring Tony’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Public Interment to be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 am. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) in care of arrangements. Online condolences for the family can be made at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
