Obituary for Marion Amero

Marion Amero of Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday December 6, 2017. Born in Saint John on December 10, 1942 she is the daughter of the late Vaughan and Beatrice (Stickney) Briggs.

Marion enjoyed quilting and spending time with family and friends.

Marion is survived by sons Allan Saunders (Shelley) of Alberta, Arthur “Steven” Palfrey (Bernadette), Jay “Rob” Palfrey and Neil Saunders (Melanie) all of Ontario; daughters Cheryle Salesse (David), Anita Goguen (Garnett) and Shelley Dickens all of Saint John and Jackie McMahon (David) of Quispamsis; sisters Elizabeth Henderson of Saint John and Dorothy McEachern of Ontario; uncle Kenny Briggs of Saint John; 21 grandchildren and 17 great–grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; canine companion Benji and feline friend Tiny.

Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband Henry.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Friday, December 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
