Obituary for Albertine Thibodeau

1928 – 2017
Albertine Y. Thibodeau, 89, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on April 16, 1928 in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Dominique and Zélica (Gaudet) Léger.

Albertine worked for the federal government for over 35 years.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joseph “Joe”; two sisters: Edith Bourque (late Oscar) and Yvonne McCaie (Aldéric); one brother, Lionel (late Yolande); several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Corinne, Rita Bourque (Henri) and Andréa; two brothers: Hervé (Rita) and Camille (Florence).

Special thank you to Dr. T. Laughlin and the personnel of the palliative care unit of The Moncton Hospital for their excellent care provided to Albertine.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre–Dame–de–la–Paix, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Monday, December 11 at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.

In memory of Albertine, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Words of comfort and donations may be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
