Obituary for Marie-Rose Gaudet

1923 – 2017
Marie–Rose Gaudet, 94, of Foyer Saint–Thomas in Memramcook, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her residence. Born on May 3, 1923 in Saint–Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Léa (Gaudet) Belliveau.

After retiring from Creaghan’s as a seamstress, Marie–Rose devoted many hours as a volunteer at the Villa du Repos and the Dr. Léon–Richard Oncology Centre.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Gaudet (late Gary Gillis) of Memramcook as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Pius (1982); two brothers: Aldéric and Joseph–Camille.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900) on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Saint–Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Memramcook at 11am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Marie–Rose, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or the Foyer Saint–Thomas would be appreciated. Words of comfort and donations may be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
