Obituary for Donald Hamilton

Donald Hamilton, born on June 13, 1933 in New Mills passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2018.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 61 years Dorothy "Dot" Hamilton, his children Cindy, Robert, Brenda, Pat and Ernie, as well as his grandchildren Robbie Poirier, Seema Poirier, Danica Dempsey, Selena Godin and Tessa Hamilton, his four great–grandkids, as well as his sister Joyce Carmichael.

He was predeceased by his parents, Nellie and Herbert Hamilton, as well as his brothers Wallace, Douglas, Wendell and sisters Vivian McGregor, Eileen Munro and Marion LaSalle.

Donald was a 30–year member of the Dalhousie Lion’s Club. He loved to fish, hunt and play bingo.

Donald’s funeral will be held at the St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on Saturday morning, April 7th, 2018, at 11 o’clock. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point. www.macmillansfuneralhome.ca
