Obituary for Léonard St–Pierre

Léonard St–Pierre, 72, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges–L Dumont, UHC. Born in Trois–Ruisseaux on February 8th, 1946, he was the son of the late Léonard and Élise (Duguay) St–Pierre.

Before his retirement, Léonard was a mechanic and school custodian.

He is survived by his common–law spouse Linda Duguay; one adopted son: Luc; three sisters: Camilla Royer (late Francis), Élodie Godin (late Charles) and Nora Cormier (Rhéal); one brother: Arsène (late Rolande); three step–children: Sebastien, Sacha and Gabriel; three step–grandchildren: Meaghan, Ethan and Alexis as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Murielle and two brothers: Francis, Léonide and stepmother, Flora.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funearium, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé on Wednesday, April 18th from 9 am till time of departure at 10:50 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste–Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé at 11 am.

In memory of Léonard, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation, Oncology, would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are in the care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532–3297). Words of comfort and online condolences may be forwarded through our website at: www.frenettefuneralhome.com
