Obituary for Gérard Gautreau

Gérard Gautreau de Pré–d'en–Haut, Memramcook est décédé à sa résidence le 7 mai 2018 à l'âge de 91 ans. Né à Pré–d'en–Haut le 10 février 1927, il était le fils de feu Eddée et Rosanne (LeBlanc) Gautreau.

Il a travaillé comme mécanicien pour MacDonald Pontiac Buick jusqu'à sa retraite. Après sa retraite, il aimait joué la guitar dans des foyers avec son groupe et était bénévole pendant 38 ans où il était membre du club d’âge d’or de Pré–d'en–Haut.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 63 ans, Anita, cinq filles, Annette (Donald) Bourque, Denise (Roland) LeBlanc et Phyllis (Raymond) LeBlanc de Dover, Pauline (Johnny) (JP) Boudreau de Shédiac et Ginette (Terry) Léger de Little Dover Rd, un fils, Jean Gautreau (Lise) de Pré–d'en–Haut, neuf petits–enfants, Martin, Rémi (Jessica), Jérôme, Patrick, Nathalie, Jaelle (Rémi), Janot (Veronique), Gabrielle (Edouard), Sébastien, deux arrière–petits–enfants, Noémie, Olivier et bébé en août 2018, cinq frères, Clément (feu Corinne) Gautreau de Sackville, Francis (Maria) Gautreau de Pré–d'en–Haut, Ronald (Antoinette) Gautreau de Dieppe, Léandre (Cécile) Gautreau de Fox Creek et Eric (Celestina) Gautreau de Dieppe et plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Deux soeurs Rita et Florine et quatre frères Armand, Ulysse, Irois et Aldorit l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Dupuis de Memramcook le jeudi 10 mai de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h seulement. Les funérailles auront lieu à l'église catholique Notre–Dame de l'Annonciation, à Pré–d'en–Haut, le vendredi 11 mai à 11 h. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière paroissial.
